The Dempsey Savory Seminar on May 13th took place in the stunning Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey, which set a perfect backdrop for the day. We had four exceptional suppliers: Omnia starches, First Choice Ingredients, Biospringer by Lesaffre, and MP Gokyo. Each supplier led technical sessions—diving deep into flavor enhancement, dairy flavors, texturants, and unique ingredients like tamarind seed gum. Attendees got hands-on with demos—sauces, chips, and dairy flavor overview. The fun, interactive passport game encouraged networking, and a big prize draw added excitement. The atmosphere was lively, and the engagement was incredible. Plus, we had a peacock visit that was such a whimsical, unexpected highlight, giving everyone a little pause to enjoy the beauty around them.
